Visiting Papa

Here are some cute pictures from when we recently went to visit Papa Danny (my dad) and his wife, Lana. If you're familiar with Jacey's level of cooperation and goofiness when taking pictures, you will be pleasantly surprised to see that she is actually smiling in the last picture!

Payton kept getting her foot run over by a car.

Killian would not get off that bench while the cars were moving!

Guitar Heroes

One thing about having twins is that when they are old enough to fight over toys, you have to buy two of everything. So during a trip to Target a couple weeks ago, I couldn't just buy one $21.99 toy guitar - I had to buy two! Killian loves to play the guitar. He plays the air guitar, he plays guitar on his mini baseball bat, his push popper toy, and on anything that resembles a guitar in a one-and-a-half year old's mind.

Fast forward two weeks...Chris buys a Wii with Guitar Hero. Do you think they want anything to do with their little toy guitars that moo and meow now? NO! They do not! Over $40 down the drain, but they sure are cute playing with Daddy's new guitar!

Our day in Long Beach

We went to the Aquarium again today. It was such a great day! Killian and Payton just love looking at the fish, feeding the birds, and touching the animals in the touch pools. They were so well behaved (like always!). And since the last time we went, they have learned who Nemo is, and how to yell "NEMO!". Although to the untrained ear it sounds like "UHMO!" or "ELMO!". So, we spent quite a long time looking at clown fish (Nemo) and palette tangs (Dori) today.

After we were done at the Aquarium, we walked across the street to check out this outside mall area. There is a carousel there and I just had to take the twins on it. Well, they loved it until it started going and then Payton freaked out and practically jumped off the horse she was on. I don't think she understood that it was going to move, especially that fast. We finished off the ride sitting on a stationary bench on the carousel. They enjoyed it a lot more when they weren't strapped to a horse moving up and down.

I took close to 100 pictures today and I narrowed it down to about 40 that I wanted to post, so I made an album instead. It would have taken me forever to upload all of them on this page. Make sure you check it out. There are some great pictures in there.

Milky Kisses

After trying about 5 or 6 different styles of cups, I finally found one they will drink their milk out of before bed! So, our new nighttime routine involves milk again. They haven't had milk at night since dropping the bottle a few months ago.

AAHHHHH!

Isn't this so cute!? She's giving him a kiss. They do this a lot, but it's rare that I catch it with the camera.

All better!

As of this morning, you can't even tell that Payton's eye was hurt last weekend. There probably won't even be much of a scar. Here she is being pretty for the camera and showing off her newly healed eye.
